Avalon Carver Community Center

The Avalon-Carver Community Center has been a multi-service resource to low-income individuals and families in south-central Los Angeles, CA since 1940. Founded with community funds, the Center has expanded over the years to offer a variety of publicly and privately funded programs for low income families and those impacted by the abuse of alcohol and other addictive substances. The mission of the Avalon-Carver Community Center is to care for the physical, mental and spiritual needs of individuals and families in south central Los Angeles whose lives have been severely disrupted by the use of alcohol and other addictive substances.
