Daybreak, A Project of OPCC

Daybreak Day Center and Shelter serve mentally ill, homeless women living in Santa Monica and the Westside of Los Angeles. It is the help of our friends in the community that allows us to keep our doors open seven days a week, 365 days a year. The Daybreak Day Center offers the women a gathering place where their challenges and disabilities are understood. Daybreak Shelter is a transitional housing program, which provides six months of structured, group living for up to thirty mentally ill women. The WIND program offers current and former clients a continuum of care through support groups, as well as social and recreational activities.
