Collage Dance Theatre

Collage Dance Theatre (CDT) is a nonprofit, site-specific dance performance company based in Los Angeles, California. We seek non-traditional venues and methods for taking contemporary dance out of the studio, off the stage, and directly into the community. Our goal is to make public art truly public. In developing our choreography, we draw strongly on the history, community, and architecture of each performance site. We actively seek collaborations with local artists, arts organizations, and community groups in order to integrate community experience with professional performance and forge a link between public space and audience.
