California Mentoring Initiative for Youth with Disabilities - Career Connection

Career Connection assists participants with educational support, job development and placement, career development, self-advocacy, money management, benefits consultation and independent living skills leading to self-sufficiency. The California Mentoring Initiative for Youth with Disabilities (CMI), one of Career Connectionï¾’s newest programs, is an exciting, new five-year project utilizing adult volunteers to mentor youth/young adults with disabilities for a one-year minimum. As part of the network of adults who care about the youth/young adult, mentors empower mentees to reach their full potential and develop and reach positive academic, career, and personal goals.
