LA ABC is the lead agency dedicated to serving seniors and adults with disabilities who have Medicare and limited incomes make the best informed decision for reducing the cost of their prescription drugs through Medicare Part D. LA ABC is an outreach program educating Medicare beneficiaries on how they can reduce or eliminate the Medicare Part D premiums, deductibles and co-payments by providing free and confidential application assistance for ﾑExtra Helpﾒ, also referred to as ﾓLow Income Subsidyﾔ (LIS).
