Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children

The mission of Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children is to empower women and their children to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency, through housing, employment and support services offered with dignity and love. OUR GOALS Assist women and children in need. Build for the future by breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness, and by giving women the skills and resources to build independent, self-sufficient lives for themselves and their children. Further the social and economic viability of our community, and its desirability as a place to live and work. The Women's Village, a community of women at various stages in their journeys out of homelessness, offers a complex, in-depth and long-term continuum of care necessary to make lasting changes in the lives of homeless women and their children. At the Women's Village, clients not only receive shelter and supportive services, they learn the skills necessary to achieve independence and self-sufficiency.
