Friends of Pio Pico, Inc.

The Friends of Pio Pico is the nonprofit are of Pio Pico State Historic Park. Our mission is to work with the State of California in ensuring quality cultural and educational programs and activities about the legacy of P�o Pico and public benefit used for all visitors to P�o Pico Historic State Park. The Friends of P�o Pico, Inc., is a local non-profit organization working with the California State Park system dedicated to providing cultural and educational activities at P�o Pico State Historic Park. The Friends of P�o Pico is a culmination of a long-term community effort to provide local citizens an opportunity to learn about the history and culture of California during the life and times of P�o de Jesus Pico IV (1801 - 1894) the last governor of "Mexican" California.
