Arts in Action Community Charter School

Arts in Action Community Charter School will inspire and prepare diverse urban students in grades K-5 to achieve college and career goals, to live healthy, fulfilling lives, and to take strategic action for a more just, humane and sustainable world. Arts in Action will prepare students with critical thinking, problem solving and fundamental academic skills through an authentic, challenging, and engaging learning experience. A supportive school culture and development of social-emotional skills will equip students to handle life’s challenges with confidence. An overarching theme of civic awareness and action will guide the planning of arts-enriched curriculum, and principles of democracy, kindness and respect will anchor the school culture.
