Griffith Park Adult Community Center

The Griffith Park Adult Community Club is housed at the The Griffith Park Adult Community Center on Riverside Dr., south of Los Feliz Blvd. The club was established in 1999 and has been affiliated with Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks Federation of Senior Citizen Clubs since 2000 when it was organized as the Silver Lake Senior Club. The name was changed to the Griffith Park Adult Community Club on January 31, 2008 when the Griffith Park Adult Community Center opened its doors. Here you can find the details on our history. The club works with the Griffith Park Adult Community Center Facility Director to provide quality programming. The club is also responsible for fund raising to support the activities at the center, arranging for trips, recruitment of members and volunteers, and a monthly newsletter. We plan trips for at least 10 months out of the year. Dues are $15/year covering January through December. Our members come from a wide geographic area - Atwater Village, East Hollywood, Echo Park, Elysian Valley, Franklin Hills, Los Feliz and Silver Lake and beyond.
