Volunteer to make a difference in a child's life with Richstone Family Center!
The Richstone Family Center is dedicated to preventing and treating child abuse , strengthening families, and preventing violence in families, schools and communities.
Program Description: Children's After school program is a year-round program providing homework help, tutoring, social skills development, character-building and enrichment activities five times a week for children from 1st-8th grades in the Hawthorne community.
Volunteer Role & Responsibilities: Volunteers will assist children with homework, reading, tutoring, or will assist program leaders with enrichment activities or disguised learning activities.
Time Commitment:1-2 hours per week. Office Hours are Mon- Thurs 9am-5pm
Requirements: Background check, TB test
