Sorting New Clothing with Shelter Partnership Inc.
Shelter Partnership, Inc. is dedicated to alleviating, preventing and ending homelessness by assisting in the development of short-term housing programs, affordable permanent housing, and supportive services for the homeless and potentially homeless throughout Los Angeles County.
Program Description: Come out and help us sort a large donation of new clothing so that we can inventory and distribute to the homeless through our agency network. You can come for any amount of time between 9am and noon. Groups welcome!
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities: Volunteers will be sorting new donated clothing and repacking for distribution. Clothing is sorted into piles on a table and then put into a box to be picked up by one of the many shelters that we serve.
Time Commitment: 3 hours
Location: Our Warehouse in the City of Bell/Near the 5 & 710

Requirements: Be able to sort through new clothing
